Becoming a Family Day Care Educator is a big decision. As an accredited and experienced service provider, we ensure you have ticked all the boxes to set up and run your Family Day Care business smoothly.
We make sure you are kept up to date on all relevant Family Day Care regulations and legislation.
We manage all payments from your families leaving you to do what’s important – build relationships with families and nurture children in your care.
We make sure you are paid on time.
We provide access to support and training as needed.
Once you submit your application, we are with you every step of the way.

As a Windermere Family Day Care Educator, you will be provide high quality education and care in your own home. With a maximum of up to seven children in your care at any time, with up to four being below school age, you will have the opportunity to create meaningful connections with a small group. (This includes any of the Educator’s own children aged under 12 years.)
Desired Skills and Experience
Key Selection Criteria:
Minimum qualification of Certificate III in Children Services
Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis prior to opening your service
Previous experience working with children from birth to 12 years
Willingness to promote and support practices that are inclusive, culturally responsive, safe and accessible
Current Victorian Driver Licence
Over 18 years
Willingness to undertake relevant pre-employment screening and checks
Right to Work in Australia e.g. Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or Visa holder with full working rights
